Alexander McGregor Hall Took over from Frank Patch as Director of the Zimbabwe Prison Service in 1981. Retired 1983.
Director Frank Leslie Patch, I.C.D., O.L.M., P.S.C. Appointed Director in 1968 in Rhodesia Notice No. 844 of 1968 – still Director in 1980 (Was signing documents ‘For Director’ in 1967 so may have been acting as Dep. Dir. before that position officially came into use). Retired in early 1981.
Director Hendrik Stephanus Bezuidenhout, I.C.D. Appointed Director with effect from 29 August 1965 in Rhodesia Notice No, 1284 of 1965 and again from 1st March 1966 in Rhodesia Notice No. 480 of 1966. Served till pre 1971 (Was noted as a Former Member when awarded his Long Service Medal 19.11.1971.
Director David Phillips Appointed Acting Director of Prisons July 1956 whilst David Cameron was on leave. Fed. Notice 363 of 1956, Fed. Govt. Gazette 1956-07-27. Appointed Deputy Director of Prisons Nov 1956, Fed Notice 1956-11-23. Appointed Director with effect from 1st December 1963 in Southern Rhodesia Notice No. 238 of 1964.
Director Patrick Hartley Hamilton Bayley Appointed Acting Director of Prisons April 1956. Fed Notice 184 of 1956, Fed. Govt. Gazette 1956-04-20.

Appointed Director of Federal Prison Service April 1956. Fed. Notice 183 of 1956, Fed. Govt. Gazette 1956-04-20. Was still serving in 1965, though David Phillips was Director by Dec 1963.
 
Deputy Director Alexander McGregor Hall Was Deputy Director when awarded his Long Service Medal 21.03.1980, having taken over at the end of 1978.
